More places should aspire to create an experience like Yanagi! I have been here several times, both as a date and as a family group. The service and food quality is very consistent. Tavin was our server tonight, and my husband ordered this gorgeous plate of sushi - I just had to share it with everyone! Come and enjoy :)

Atmosphere was great, they made good use of their space and it does not feel cramped in anyway. Service was attentive, professional, and very helpful when I asked to add a dessert and couldn't remember the name. Food was a delight! The plating was nice and neat. I tried the seafood soup, instead of the common miso, and it did not disappoint. It was well balance with vegetables and meat (scallion, crab, shrimp pieces) and a good starter. The Unagi Bowl was a generous portion from the price filling. I was so happy to order some extra dishes for the next day. For dessert, highly recommend the tempura cheesecake with raspberry ginger sauce. Originally I was going for just the cheesecake with cherry ginger sauce, but her suggestion was far better.

Omg what can I say, this place is a vibe. The atmosphere is so hyped and the food is amazing. You can dine in and sit at a regular table to order from the menu or you can reserve a table where your food is cooked on a large hot plate in front of you. While cooking your food they put on a little show for you with sounds and funny little food shows. Its a blast and great entertainment while dining. I have got to say there korean chicken is amazing and there fried rice with chicken is so amazing. Its asian based and they have a beautiful entrance way with a koi fish pond. Amazing experience A+. There restrooms are very clean and tidy and the staff are so professional and friendly.

Magnificent building, wonderfully appointed and decorated, along with great food and service. This establishment has been long awaited since China Star closed and Amarillo has definitely been rewarded for its patience. My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our meal and the overall atmosphere. The fish are a particularly nice addition.

The koi pond and waterfall in the lobby is really nice! The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. She did a great job of keeping our drinks filled and checking if we needed anything. Our food was delicious. We each ordered the Hibachi Chicken and one teriyaki hibachi chicken. The portions were good, my only complaint would be the amount of vegetables seemed light compared with other hibachi restaurants. Some of us didn’t get certain veggies (like zucchini) but had an abundance of carrots. We all liked the dipping sauce. We also started with the Gyoza. It was excellent. We ordered a California roll and a sweet potato roll; both rolls were delicious. The avocado on the California roll was very fresh tasting, and we were surprised by the sweet potato roll it had great crunch. The restroom was very clean.
